How it all started...
Family Church was birthed out of The Exodus Projects, a non-profit organization dedicated to Church Planting and Community Care. In a season of prayer spanning seven months, a team from The Exodus Projects discerned God’s call to begin ministry in Chicago Heights, IL.
Responding to this call, Pastor Corey relocated to Chicago Heights in 2016 to embark on this journey. Upon arrival, Pastor Corey engaged with the community, initiating a weekly Bible study and Saturday morning worship services. These early gatherings laid the foundation for what would become Family Church—a beacon of hope and love in Chicago Heights

Family Church is a non-denominational congregation committed to: "Welcoming the Broken, discipling believers, and impacting the world around us for the Glory of God." Our doors are open to all, regardless of background or circumstance. We strive to create a welcoming and nurturing environment where individuals can grow in their faith and find purpose in serving others.
At Family Church, we envision a community transformed by the love of Christ ( Small Church that Loves Big) a community where brokenness is mended, believers are equipped for discipleship, and the impact of our collective efforts resonates far beyond our walls. Together, we endeavor to shine the light of God's love into every corner of Chicago Heights and beyond.

The Exodus Projects
The Exodus Projects exists to restore the broken, build believers, and send disciples. We lovingly restore broken individuals and their relationships to the church by sharing the gospel. serving our community and partnering with local churches, organizations and governments. We faithfully build believers in missional discipleship communities through biblical education, meaningful worship services, and life skills development. We prayerfully send out disciples who advance the work of Christ by planting churches, becoming urban missionaries, and working locally, nationally, and internationally.

Chicagoland Prison Outreach exists to show God’s love to offenders and their families by teaching the Gospel, providing educational programs and biblical mentoring, and equipping them to live productive, godly lives.
